About us

The TCFC Team

The TCFC team is comprised of several life-long anglers, passionate about the spirit and community of fishing that goes far beyond catching fish. Capt. John, Trailer Park Travis and I, are just the tip of the hook. Through community partnerships, our nets run wide. We work together to encourage anglers of all ages to explore nature, enjoy the outdoors, and make memories that last a lifetime. Some of my favorite memories are fishing with my friends when we were in high school. It never mattered what we caught or what was going on in our lives. We met up and put a line in the water. After that, not too much else mattered.

Our Mission

Getting kids to trade screens for scenes

IAt TCFC we believe the best lessons aren't learned through a screen-they're learned outdoors. Too many kids today are missing out on the excitement of their first catch, the peace of a sunrise on the water, and the friendships built through shared adventure. TCFC is dedicated to getting kids off devices and back into nature, where they can develop patience, confidence, and respect for the environment. By introducing them to fishing and outdoor exploration, we're helping them reconnect with the word around them and rediscover the simple joy of being outside.

How we help

TCFC makes videos with the goal to inspire kids to fish, but there's more to it.

Equipping them for success by

  • Gear giveaways through viewer support and local businesses

  • Partnering with local captains to help kids that don't have access to a boat, level up.

  • Fishing clinics to help teach kids how to fish responsibly and safely, as well as introduce them to other kids that have similar interests.

How you can help

We can't do it alone

As much as we love doing what we do, this isn't a full-time gig. Every little bit of help goes a long way.

What we need from the community

  • Support the channel by watching, subscribing and sharing

  • Donate gear for the clinics and the giveaways. Check out the testimonials of some of the kids we have helped.

  • Sponsor a video, event, giveaway or volunteer at one of the clinics.

  • All channel merch proceeds go back into the clinic.

Where do the donations go?

Non-profit status is in progress.

Currently TCFC is not set up as a business. No money or donations are used outside of the movement. Here is a brief overview of our expenditures.

Expense Bullet Point

  • Gear for kids

  • Clinic Promotion, venue cost, fees, and supplies (This can get crazy sometimes)

  • Video production costs and time.

How we make up the difference

It's a work in progress

A by-product of all this networking and video production, as it turns out, is the discovery that networking and promoting companies makes a good side gig, which developed into some affiliate programs.

Money is tight everywhere, but you can still help through our affiliates with everyday purchases.

  • Check out our products page with loads of gear and everyday products on our Amazon affiliate links page.

  • Check out our sponsor page and use our link for a discount off everything from gear to BOATS!

  • We are not doing this alone: our community supports each other, so check out our affiliated community leader page.

Supporting Content Creators

These are other creators that support our cause and help promote the movement.

All donations and gifts and proceeds are 100% returned to the channel to help get kids back outdoors.
